300tdi gearbox and transfer box - who do you recommend
My R380 and LT 230 are a little beyond their best and in need of replacing, the transfer box must have been contaminate£ with water at some point in it’s life as when I replaced front and rear bearings everything had a good coating of rust and theres so much play in it i don’t trust it will last much longer before failing totally.

Who are the best theses days, obviously I have heard of Ashcroft and believe they are good, but what about Beaumont who are over £100 cheaper or is there anyone else that’s good or best to avoid? 2015 RRS Autobiography SDV6

I had a new t box from Ashcroft when I bought my auto conversion kit from them. I know there are other cheaper suppliers out there but I still rate Ashcroft and always had first class customer service from them.

i have a good used 300 tdi box from a disco

ashcroft or winchester gears for a recon.

beaumonts get mixed reviews. we were in a freshly rebuilt lr yesterday with a beaumont box. less than 100 road miles and its jumping out of 3rd on the overrun already.

will see what they say about it

I'd go with Ashcroft too.
