Glow plug 60a fuse blowing
Looking for some advice on what could be going wrong with my puma. The 60a fuse under the drivers seat for the glow plugs keeps blowing as soon as I turn the ignition on, I've had a good look in the engine bay and can't seem to see any damaged cables. Anyone got any advice where to start? Is it a case of replacing the glow plugs? Glow plug relay? Its driving me mad trying to figure out what is wrong

First disconect the wire from glow plugs and switch on ignition. If the fuse survives, your problem is probably in glow plugs, it it burns again, look for short to ground (chassis). 60A is big fuse and needs proper short to burn. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

Does anyone know what route the black and yellow wire out of the glow plug relay takes to get to the glow plugs just so I can try and trace it and look for damage

follow the tube on the side of the engine but easier with manifold removed

I got it sorted it turned out to be one of the glow plugs that was shorting and blowing the fuse, all of them came out fairly easily which was a relief. The bolt holding the cable that feeds the glow plugs down was missing so I replaced that while I was at it I’ve read on some other posts that that has been the problem
