[Wanted] TD5 Discovery 2
Hello all, i'm looking for a discovery 2.

would prefer facelift model but not a deal breaker.

i've been to look at a few that are meant to be good but are no good. hoping some one on here may have something suitable. it is only going to be a workhorse so 5 seater is fine.

Depending on your price. I spotted on in a local garage over the weekend,. £5295 in blue on a 51 plate 1999 Defender TD5 110

And so begins the job of tracking down & fixing all the leaks... ask me how I know!

I have resealed the sunroof frames, replaced the rubber sunroof seals, added drains to the rear of both sunroof trays, adjusted the rear door to ensure the seal meets the bodywork, reseated the air intake where it goes through the scuttle, repealed the wiper motor where it goes through the scuttle and still not been able to make it water tight... have tested all the bonded glass & also the roof rail seals too.
