Not helped by the fact that they don't know where many of the original mine shafts are and a few have 'reopened' in people gardens.

was on tv a few weeks back not a thing said abought the impact on the area just good for the makers as there is a shortage . coal next ?

The initial dig point is in a mine that only shut 30 years ago, so the site is already there. Just need to get back inside (which I believe they’re already pumping the water out.
