[For Sale] NOW SOLD

Having a clear out now I no longer have a Defender & need room in the barn.

These were new when I bought them a few years back & have only ever been used for a few months during the wettest parts of two winters with very little road use so still have pretty much all the tread they came with, unlike many of the second hand ex military XZLs for sale on a certain auction site!

To buy new these are £136 each at Tyreleader, then plus fitting etc. appreciate this is a used set but considering they're ready to use on a reasonable set of alloys I'm looking for £360ono for them as a set of 4.

Collection only I'm afraid as I don't have facilities to put them on a pallet for a courier - can be collected from SO24, RG21 or GU24 postcodes by arrangement or I am happy to bring to the Newbury 4x4 spares day on 5 April which is where they will end up if not sold before then.

Got some additional photos this morning to show tread depth. Also shows that there is no perishing on sidewalls or tread - tyres have been stored laid flat and under cover to make sure there are no bulges & prevent UV damage.

Price reduced

Still got these wheels & tyres for sale, price drop to £320.

Will try & get them cleaned up & take some more photos if I get time in between finding & fixing leaks in the D2 sunroofs...

Will be going to Newbury 4x4 spares day for sale there if not sold before - happy for them to be be collected there if anyone wants them.

Hi,

I've been looking for a set of XZL's and I'll happily buy these. Are these the same size as the 750R16's? I have the standard 16" steel wheels I'd like to fit them to.

If they are the same, I'll happily buy and arrange a pickup from you. PM if you like and we can talk

They are slightly different to the 7.50s in that they are a bit wider and have a double block in the centre.

The 235s were fitted primarily to the Snatch defenders.

Camelman has beaten me to it! Diameter is equivelant to 7.50x16 but the tread is wider & has a double central block.

Hello, Sorry to go radio silence, and that hasn't been intentionally. with the information provided from Camelman and yourself I think the narrow XZL's are what I'm looking for, albiet unlikely to find at this price point.

Sorry to get you all excited and not deliver. Bit of a dickhead move on my part. I'm sorry I was not better informed going into this. I will try to do better in the future to not do this again.

Good luck with the sale at the spares weekend. I would love to make it to Newbury one day.
