Not placed the order yet but mines will be -

90 S
D200
Tasman Blue
White Roof
Privacy glass
Steel wheels
Off road tyres
White interior crossbeam
Meridian sound system
Premium LED headlights
Ebony headliner
Classic mud flaps

Given the price increase on my build I’ve ditched the air suspension, the standard coils will have enough off road abilities for my uses.

Mine finally arrived last Saturday here in Los Angeles, 7 months after I placed my order in February. Took some photos, but I'm afraid most have a nasty orange hue due to the thick smoke covering the great majority of Southern California these days, our region is quite literally burning up. We are about 3 to 4 miles away from being evacuated ourselves, living in the hills behind Pasadena. It's snowing ashes outside... What a year.

Love the car thus far though, 2020 HSE (P400) 5-seater in Indus silver with factory satin film (California deserts pinstriping from bushes and trees branches was a major issue on my LR4 and RRS, hopefully the wrap will help... Satin looks pretty cool in the flesh) black roof, off-road pack, advanced off-road pack, cold climate pack, 19" black rims and a few other options and frills. No faults, creaks, rattles of any kind after about 100 miles, knock on wood. Main battery was low upon delivery, recharged it the first night, no messages since. Even InControl remote paired no problem at the first try, I feel lucky. Built in early 7/20.

I installed the tow rings all by myself over the weekend, following more or less the PowerfulUK method, except that I used some boxes in lieu of an assistant, my first tiny mod. Underbody protection - rock sliders / skid plates - is next, while still holding out hope someone will come up with an aftermarket 18" rim for the P400 that just bolts on with no mods. I miss my Compos. Pleased that most of my recovery gear and tools fit under the floor in the boot, I used to have all this stuff stashed under or behind the second row seats of the 7-seater LR4 and wasn't sure I would find space in the new Defender. Cargo space is way smaller than the Disco/LR4, but I can manage just fine. Engine is a beast, even compared to the old 5-liter V8 of the Disco. Ride quality is fantastic. No complaints so far.

As in July 2020? Is that off a build sheet? Is the VIN over 10,000 yet?

Build date is on the tag on the door, plus my dealer gave me my VIN the day they built my vehicle (07/01/2020), so I could double check it on Topix... Last 6 digits of my VIN are 012427, so if those are sequential I guess yes, it's over 10,000.

it was supposed to dock in Sydney originally 4 days ago Big Cry but it still loitering around Queensland waiting to
unload in Bris vegas Evil or Very Mad . Tonsberg is not due into Sydney now until the 19th late afternoon, so unlikely to get
to the dealers until around the 25th, i should see it first week of October.

Umbertob congrats on your new vehicle Thumbs Up , glad you are enjoying it. i am going for the Xpel gloss protection wrap
I have been quoted $6.5K Australian for a full wrap minus the roof (i will have a the rack up there) and that
also includes a ceramic coating.. Its insurance against the dreaded bush stripes which will likely to be incurred
on our tour of Australia commencing your Spring (our Autumn) new year.. yet another pommie bar steward down under

Mine was built on the 10th July and the VIN starts 014, its near 15 thousand , so does that mean 2,500 vehicles
between the 1st and 10th rolled off the line? yet another pommie bar steward down under

Which tag has the build date on it? I’ve got tags on both front doors but don’t see anything that might be a build date. One tag is the tyre pressures and the other seems to be all the emissions rules it complies with. I found the vin plate on the B pillar but no build date on that either. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

The VIN plate near the bottom of the LH B pillar has the build date stamped at the very top (MM/YY), at least for us here in North America. I think it was the same for previous LR vehicles I've owned.
