Read this thread. Didn't know I needed a new petrol cap until I did. Bought the Optimil in silver. Looks great, can recommend it against Atlantis blue paint.

I really like the look of the Optimil cap.
I very much have a black theme going on my 90 Landmark but I am concerned the black would easily be marked when set down ? Does anybody have one and would like to comment? The silver option would be unpainted I assume and be more robust and not show the scratches so much. |

^^ No worries, there always is a solution for avoiding scratches to or by the fuel caps. Like below.

I did see that suggestion but it would not go down well.
Just thinking I have 2 cars a BMW 1M owned for 2 years and the 90 landmark and my wife has not been in either of them yet!! |

HI,
Just thought to share my budget Aluminium fuel cap option. Bought this Aluminium cap cover from ebay. (perfect fit but NOT in Silver) https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Aluminum-Diese...2749.l2649 I painted it with VHT high temp "Cast Aluminium" colour. Very happy with the outcome. If it’s already aluminium why not just sand the paint off and lacquer? Ray
