Just saw these yesterday. Anyone running a set that off roads your vehicle? Them seem to be priced very well?

Aren't those the Britpart ones? I'm told they are decent. WARNING.

They look like mine, and mine are britpart. Well made and seem to be coping well.

So alternative aftermarket rather than specifically HD like Ashcrofts or GKN? Cheers

Installed the LOF ones last weekend, they did not arrive in blue bags.
Still, I am 99.99% sure they are the same as the Britpart ones. Same design and most probably same factory. I went for the LOF ones as I had confirmation the flanges were painted and was hoping it would be be a direct fit. Well .... the paint quality was so poor I could remove it with a finger nail, so I ended up removing all the poor paint and re painting. Luckily I had some leftover from a Buzzweld FXLiner 1k kit which was perfect for this. Anyway, britpart or not, they look very well made and once fitted, very happy with the improved driving experience so far! Hope they will last. ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge /Mat |

Shame about the paint, I'd give that feedback to LOF as I think they'd want to know.
Good that you're happy with them though ![]() Then: 2004 2.5 TD5 90 Hard Top (X-Tech Edition) |

I know this is an old thread, but how are you getting on with these? Do you think they would be strong enough on a 110 overland vehicle?

No complaints with mine other than the paint quality is poor. In hindsight, I should have stripped and painted the flanges before fitting them. They've been fitted for almost 3 years now and have stood the test of time with no clunks / bangs appearing

Mine are all good. Fitted them, then gave then a whip over with some paint, given them plenty of abuse on and off road without issue.

Yeah second that, I have the LOF ones and the black paint doesn't even last 3 months before rusting through. I've just taken it back and painted with POR-15. If you get a chance do it before you fit.
As others have said, fit and forget. (but not the paint!) |

Great, thanks for the reviews. I think I'll get some on order, but will paint before I install.

Does anyone know Are these more of an upgrade because they’re all in one or are they actually a stronger shaft?
