I have changed the way I have the 110 set up now so the water tank we used for overland and camping trips is no longer needed. It is a front runner 40ltr unit that is designed to sit in the footwell of the vehicle.
I had this installed in the middle row seats footwell of my 110 CSW and it fits perfectly. I ran two taps off each outlet so I could get water either side of the vehicle. It has been installed in the 110 for about 2 years and is in great condition with no leaks. New, these are £125 so am looking for £60 collected. If you want to arrange your own courier I can package it up. I am based in North Wales near Bangor but often travel to Wrexham for work so happy to meet up along the way if that helps. Details and dimensions are on the Front Runner site here: https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.com/en/u...-tank.html Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Hi Simon
How well does it fit in the space ? is it higher than the raised platform that the seats fit to ? I have a board fitted across that space with all my units on and would like to fit something like this in that space but its not very tall ... can you let me know if you think that its likely to fit? many thanks Click image to enlarge Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |

yes that sounds a little tall for fitting in the space ... I’ll just have to have one made form the looks of it ... many thanks for taking the time to check Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |

No problem...... have you thought about one of the flexible water bladders? They are very durable and will confirm to the shape needed. Love your conversion by the way A pop top is on my list for the next development.

I am worried that a bladder will flex to much and fatigue in the space when we do our planed long overland trips (Mongolia iceland finland )
so have 30 ltrs just now but want to double that at least - so may just mount x2 20 ltrs on the side when touring.. but keeping options open Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |
