United Kingdom 2002 Defender 90 Td5 HT Caledonian Blue
Since fitting the new tyres I've done about 500 miles. All in the dry, but first impressions are very good Thumbs Up
Noise is very minimal. I'd say they were quieter than the Hankooks by a small margin. Dry grip is fantastic, very stable and precise and have a very predictable loss of grip at the limit.
I'd say that the grip level is equal to the 285 Hankooks but in 265 profile.

Another, unexpected, benefit of these seems to be ride comfort. Running at the same pressure as the previous tyres the ride has become much more pliant, especially over harsher bumps and the odd unavoidable pot hole.

I can't comment on wet weather or offroad performance yet - based on their behaviour so far I'd say its likely to be good. I'd certainly recommend them at the moment Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
