Good sales pitch
Is it just me, but Richard said that they had distributed the weight evenly, so why does the back sit lower than the front 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

It's either because they've chosen the rear springs poorly or it's an optical illusion caused by the relative positions of the wheel arches. This one has been lowered, which I always think looks slightly odd anyway, but that compounds the problem when somebody tries to level the whole car because the front and rear arches aren't at the same level to start with. I understand but there appear to be plenty of others whose personal OCD drives them the other way. There was a thread on here a little while ago by somebody who was determined to get his 90 'level' and was messing about with springs and shims to do so. To me however, when he'd finished to his satisfaction, it looked like the rear was sagging due to the relative levels of the wheel arches. Each to their own and all that. Darren
