Third Land Rover for me started with a 1958 88” series 2 then an 88 90 with a 19j turbo Diesel engine died so put in a 200tdi now this one a 99 td5 county regret selling the others but this I think is a keeper

1st Defender ever owned, the others were all 90s and 88s

Click image to enlarge I’ve only had this for 8 or 9 years. It was parked up in a farmyard having failed it’s MOT. Someone local to me put a galv chassis on it and blew over the paint work. Heated seats were added along with electric windows. Overall it wasn’t a great job but there we go. It came with Boost alloys, I swapped them for standard steels and then some Wolf wheels. The bumper wasn’t in great nick so I fitted a galv one. I’ve also got a kit coming to make the taligate open sideways. The engine was rebuilt and now (eventually) runs really well. Long term plan is soft top and respray either 2015 heritage green or rover blue (can’t remember the colour name....). Time and funds permitting. The P38 has first dibs on those... |
