I have RSVP'ed (twice) to a test drive at the LR track near Lithgow. LR sent out the first invite and then 2 days later my dealer sent out the same one! That was Monday and then Wednesday last week and no replay as to if I have a place for the date I wanted:-(

PB that was the venue for the journalist intro's that are now online it seems. Maybe they will start
scheduling for we the greater unwashed in the coming period.. That said i have not even received an
invite from JLR Australia nor my dealer Evil or Very Mad and not as if i do not have a vehicle four weeks out
from delivery Laughing yet another pommie bar steward down under

Thanks Tim and Zilch. Will search around for that part number - should have also said looking to see if there’s a split 7 seat option.

I appreciate the proper thing is great to have but if you have problems locating one for a 7 seater then an off-cut of artificial grass or carpet works well and is easy to cut to shape. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

I check with my dealer - it’s actually a fully factory backed 5 year warranty:)

i need to speak to mine then, as the website is quite specific, 3 year / 100K KM's and 2 year

I spoke to my dealer, he confirmed the incentive is based upon 3 year factory and 2 year extended insurance
policy (had one before for my RRS from Allianz). As yet he cannot confirm if LR will extend the offer for Sept
deliveries yet another pommie bar steward down under

Just reading about Mitsubishi now offering 10-year warranty, albeit you are tied to main dealer servicing. Not sure if the offer is limited to the Australian market or available more widely?

"Mitsubishi this morning announced a new Diamond Advantage Program that sees a new-vehicle warranty of 10 years/200,000km applied to every vehicle in its line-up, including 4X4 Triton, Pajero and Pajero Sport models. The program also includes 10-years capped-price servicing.

Of course, there are a few conditions to the new Diamond Advantage Program. Here’s the crux of it:

10-year/200,000km new car warranty (if owners do not service with a Mitsubishi dealer they will still be covered by Mitsubishi’s 5-year/100,000km warranty).
10 year/150,000km capped price servicing.
4-year roadside assistance (if serviced with an authorised Mitsubishi Dealer)."

In addition" Genuine accessories are also covered by the new vehicle warranties if fitted by a Mitsubishi Dealer." Imagine that with a Defender ~ how many sets of side steps would you get through in 10 years?

chatting to my dealer today about the 5 year free servicing, they informed me that actually
irrespective of the vehicle having a 2 year / 24 K service schedule, as part of the JLR corporate programme
which i purchased on, i actually can get a service every 12 months.. that will come in handy when we
start going to parts unknown through Oz, where the conditions are less than ideal for lengthy service
schedules.. yet another pommie bar steward down under
