Hi
Just rebuilt a 300tdi.
It is now smoking when the revs increase its fine and smooth on tic over but when the revs are around 1500+ it starts to smoke a whiteish colour and sounds like a small misfire.
Any help would be useful.

Head rebuilt and skimmed.
New turbo cartridge a quality one.
New fuel filter and oil filter.
New rings and bigend bearings.

I would suspect a bad injector. Richard

Either a 90, 110 or 130.

Check injectors by loosening the nut at the top of each injector in turn repeat the throttle up at each injector loosening. If white smoke stops when one is loosened their is your duff injector Very Happy
