Slightyl off topic but might be of interest. I had an advert pop up from a company selling Ford Fiesta 6 air vent cup holders. Basically the same as Puma Defender air vent but had a cup holder slide out the centre. I didn't take a ot of interest and can now find no sign of it, but it's out there somewhere. James

I have one and it works pretty well. I have mounted it to a ram ball on the passenger grab handle. The way I have it mounted works really well for me especially off road. I is annoying to most passengers though. The foam cup insulation thing that comes with it is mostly useless, it's small and will only fit the smallest of bottles and cans. I sometimes remove it and use the same ram ball to mount a phone holder.

I kinda thought that it would be slightly annoying to any passenger but most of the time
I’ve got no mates anyway......except for the dogs but they’re in the back😬 I am going to try down by the heater controls and see how that works out. |

I don't have any passengers most of the time as well, and if someone really tall needs the space for their knee you can easily remove it. I also looked at removing one of the screws by the heater controls and replacing it with a ram ball. They did not seem strong enough for me to hold a drink. A very light sat nav unit maybe, but not a large phone or a cup holder especially off road. |

Oh, that’s a bit of a bummer.
I will give it a go and see how we get on🤔 |
