1976 Land Rover 101 Forward Control for sale
Original 3.5l V8 petrol engine, Overdrive, High Ratio Gears, Parabolic Springs. This vehicle has only had 5 previous owners since its release from the military in 1994. MOT & Tax Exempt. This vehicle is in excellent condition as shown by the photos. Front mounted pioneer tools are included in the sale. Front and rear NATO hitches, fire extinguishers, bridging plate, stainless steel fuel tank and a recently new canvas combine to make a great example of the Land Rover 101. The interior is also in excellent condition, uprated aluminium brake and clutch fluid reservoirs, rear bench seats, spare wheels mounted in the correct place, gun clips, and uprated seats to add extra comfort. The heater blower unit has been rebuilt and works like a dream providing as much heat as you could ever want! Especially in the winter months. A high ratio gearbox & Overdrive gears really make for a great driving experience. The original petrol V8 starts on the first turn of the key and leads to a free revving V8 rumble. It really does drive well and cruises nicely on any road! Original total mileage 28000km There has been a recent service for £1800 which included manifold gaskets, oil filters, spark plugs, ball joint renewal kits and a new rear exhaust. This receipt will be included in the sale. Also included will be the full military history of the vehicle. This 101 served most of its time in the Royal Tank Regiment. 2 keys and 2 battery isolators will be included. If you are looking for a classic Land Rover with lots of TLC carried out then this is a fine example. I had one of those and should NEVER have sold it. I've had every model of Land Rover that I've ever wanted but that's the one I miss the most
