Good Evening Everyone!
Thank you for all the replies, All the information has been really helpful! On closer inspection and with comparison to others, as a lot of you have mentioned I think the axles aren’t the original, hence why the wheels don’t fit flush. I will take a look tomorrow at whether the bolts can be turned so they don’t catch and if that fails I will give some of the other suggestions a go! Thank you for the help! Dan |

I have the early axle and thought the boost would fit. Well they fit but with the black cap sticking through!
My axle has other issues too. The swivels and one caliper needs replacing and I have just found it doesn't have good filler plugs on the swivel housing. My truck is 1993. So please recommend what I should look for and what to avoid when looking for a new axle. Many thanks. M |

I wouldnt swap out an axle for the case of swivels and filler cap. Caliper will need to be done whatever you do. Cheers

A lot of axles have callipers with them. If they are ok, with good swivels and it means I can fit the boosts then that is worth a look. Oh and they have better fillers for the swivels! And around £300

I ran freestyle alloys on the earlier 10spline axles (1988 90) for 20 years or so without modifying the wheels or the hubs.
I just took a set of old brake drums, cut the drum such that I have a spacer. The thickness of the drum material is just right.
