Was home over Christmas and retrofitted front and rear anti-roll-bars with polybushes. Simple job only took an hour or so.

The difference is night and day! Complete transformation of road manners. I can now corner without worry of toppling over Laughing > 110 XS Double Cab

Hank just a thought if you rotate your winch hook thru 180* the weight of the hook is hanging on the crook of the hook rather than on the spring closure gate where it meets the hook ( the spring closure isn’t designed to be weight bearing)
If the spring closure gate were to fail the main hook would be swinging free as your driving Thumbs Up 2015 HT XS 90

Flew through another MOT last week Thumbs Up

Loads of bits and bobs done over recent weeks...

Finally got round to replacing the truck cab sliding window felts as per this thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic64620.html - fiddly job but the windows are working lovely now!

Did the rocker cover gasket and injector seals (again) - seems to be ok this time. I think the trick is to clean out the injector seats in the head which you can only do with the rocker cover removed.

I re-routed the rocker cover breather pipe so that it vents to atmosphere and then blanked off the return in the inlet. This seems to have cured my plume of blue smoke on startup which I was not expecting. I think a few drips of oil were collecting in the inlet when the vehicle was left for any length of time which then burnt on startup.

Last but not least I fitted safari equip tree sliders which I've had waiting for 18 months! I had been putting this job off as I was in two minds about trimming my arch spats... Turned out mine didn't need trimming which was great news! Also fitted a "Side Tube Seal" to close the gap between sill and slider to keep it looking a bit tidier

Got some new sear box carpets to fit at some point!
