Do you get one screw in recovery ring as standard or two?
Is there a load rating difference between the two options or is it just a convenience item? |

Pretty sure you get one screw-in ring as standard equipment with the car. Since it appears the 4 bolts used on both mounts are the same and the mounts themselves look identically beefy in side-by-side photos, my guess is that those are a convenience only - having two rings exposed and ready at all times (depending on how and where you get stuck when in need of a yank, it may not be so easy to remove the plastic covers, whip out and screw that ring on the bumper after the fact.) The one disadvantage of the fixed rings is that I would most likely hit one of the two with my shinbone or knee every time I loaded something back there, and that's gotta hurt.

You get a single massive screw in ring in the boot where the 2 rear most seats would be in a 7 seat version
The optional recovery eyes permanently show through two oblong press out plates in the rear bumper except that once they are taken out there’s no putting the covers back in! Also the price in the U.K. includes fitting which involves removal of the entire back bumper - 2 men, 1hour to take off and another to replace? And it they are anything like the captive hook on my 90’scwinch the paint will crack and fall off after the first use showing unsightly rust staining on the bumper as I bet that they are not stainless steel........ I emailed Britcar, and they are NOT stainless / inox steel. So yes they’ll rust, maybe even through un-chipped paint after awhile. |

I don't know why the proportions look so wrong on the new Defender, the "90" looks even more odd to me than the "110". At least the "90" doesn't have the bizarre "mood board" on the side though.
The wheels look too small, and the waistline too high. The Yeti was a similar concept but looks much better proportioned. |

I know what you mean. It just looks wrong. Are these the final design or someone’s renders?

Agree, not enough tyre for the size of wheel/wheel arch I think.
And the one in the first pic (the grey one) looks like the rear wheels are too far forward for the arches. |

Looks like both of those 90’s are either at offroad height or have asuspension lift which makes them both look silly Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
