Output shaft corrosion
Ok , I’ve have a leak from the output seal , The transfer box was overhauled just before I bought my 2010 110 a few weeks ago , great I thought ! , but hayho it’s leaking , got the go ahead from the garage up north to fix and send the bill to them as I have 6 months warranty parts and labour and I live in north cornwall Thumbs Up

Stripped down today to find corrosion on the shaft so no good just fitting a new seal Big Cry

So new shaft being fitted tomorrow , I’m guessing due to it only covering 600 miles is in 2 years it’s corroded due to condensation?? , oil from the leak all in the hand break shoes also ! No wonder it wouldn’t hold ,

Will fit new swivels also as there corroded also

I’m using James who is south west defenders on Fb , have known James for many years , and luckily I have my own unit and a 4 post ramp Thumbs Up
