Series 3 rear sliding windows

Morning,

Help required............

I am trying to replace the felt runners on the rear sliding windows on a 109 Series 3. The old runners were in pieces so I managed to remove them and replace without removing the top locking track.

On both sides I am having issues where the rear pane of glass is too low and the locking catch does not reach the track.

There were not any packing strips under the runners I removed and the front pane slides / locks relatively well.

Has anyone experienced this problem ?
