Correct fuel filter for a 2015 Defender 90XS 2.2L Puma ?
Hi,

I’ve been searching online for a fuel filter for my 2015 Defender 90XS 2.2L puma engine.
Two different filters seem to be coming up and both are stated to fit a 2.2L Puma defender according to the suppliers adverts ?... so I’m not sure which is the correct one ?

• Fuel Filter Element WJI500040
• Fuel Filter Element BH42-9C296-AC

When I go onto ebay and use the compatibility tool that many of the suppliers there have in their listings, then, if I type in my defender details, the compatibility tool is saying neither of these element types are compatible with a 2015 2.2L puma defender ?

From the photos both look the same size and form ?

Any advice on what exactly I should be ordering much appreciated.

Thanks,

Well WJI500040 has an explicit listing for the Tdci and just googling BH42-9C296-AC gives results for a 4.4 TDV8.

I wouldn't trust the ebay compatibility tool outside of very modern and boring vehicles. LR Workshop

anything ebay do is a broad / vague guide at best and usually crap.

sellers cant get rid of it hence why many say call them or double check before ordering

the filter does both 2.4 and 2,2

Fuel Filter Element WJI500040
