[For Sale] [For Sale] Beta 80 junior trials bike - project
This is a 2005/2006 bike which my son has used over the last few years. He is now 13 and could still ride it but has a Beta 125. It needed a new main bearings and a bit of tlc so I thought it would be enjoyable to strip it down and rebuild it. I got bored / frustrated very quickly and recognised I don't have the expertise / tooling / patience required to do it. So I have a partially stripped Beta 80 and a box with all of the fittings and parts in. I know. Embarassed

So here it is pre halfwit:

I've been advised by someone in the trade to advertise it for £750. Apparently the wheels are the valuable bits. Who knew?

I thought I'd gauge interest here as I know there are a few folk with trials bikes. Donation to the forum if it sells here.

I'm near Worcester, collection only.

Thanks,

Huttopia.

What a shame Laughing don't you have a friend who could get it together for you?

There's plenty of fb trials pages that will sell easily on.
Though be prepared to be bid in the nuts.

I just sold my Repsol 4RT, as most trials have been cancelled and I'd prefer to do proper trials than a play day. I'll get a new 301R next year.

Good luck.

That would be ideal Greeni, but unfortunately I don't know of anyone locally who could do it. I spoke to a chap I've been recommended (Mark Willis) and he is happy to take it on and the costs are very reasonable, but his view was it should sell for no problem at around £750 as is. Who knows. If it doesn't sell I'll take it to Mark and have it sorted. It can then be a spare or kept for grandchildren circa 2035 Shocked

Kev (Factory Kev) Hipwell is the man to go to up here, very well respected, reasonable prices too (in fact almost free).
He's the main spanner man at GasGas. Can be contacted through FB.

Cracks me up, they've all got names. Mark Willis is also known as 'brokenlegs'. Magic. Laughing
