£95K for this.
I enjoy the speel at the start of the ad, which has absolutley nothing to do with the what's for sale.. 'Originally developed for the British Army, between 1968-1984 the military lightweight, forms the penultimate model of our celebration to Remake History. Originally known as the Half Ton Lightweight, all 37,897 units produced were based on the Series IIA and Series III by the original manufacturer as a lighter version of their counterparts once it was stripped of its panels.' It seems like you'll be in a special club.. 'To reserve your piece of history, build slot and lock in your build number ' LOCK IT IN BOYS !!! ' No doubt some will end up in private collections' 'Eight out of ten lightweight models remain available' .... Wait, what? I thought you need to lock in your build number? https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/us...26Page%3D5 This stuff makes me chuckle. He must have spent about £4.99 on the door tops, they aren't even the mag versions Click image to enlarge |

I actually really like this 90, I think it looks great but... Difficult to justify that price tag and why does it not at least have a remap??
I'd be interested to see how they managed to legally fit that middle seat? A few herbal cigarettes and it might seem a reasonable price.

Is it just me or does the drivers door look like a different shade to the rest of the car?

Not sure if the advert has been updated, but it mentions 170BHP remap now. I know I'm only saying the obvious which everyone is is thinking... but how is that in any way related to a Lightweight? IMO they would have been better spraying them green and doing a Heritage style HUE tribute. Might have had a wider appeal. |

It has front bumperettes. That is the only vague similarity I can see. |

Is parting a fool from his money a wicked thing to do? After nobody is forced to buy this rubbish, but presumably they do since otherwise nobody would make it.
