Bonnet

Hi chaps, another daft question from me

did the tdi bonnets come with the same bracing underneath as the td5s? Or did they just have the box section type bracing? Reason is, I’ve seen a bonnet for sale that is advertised as tdi but the pics show it has the same bracing style as my td5 bonnet. It’s a good price and good condition so if it’s just advertised wrong I’ll get it to get rid of my chequer plate.

Td5s were the first to have the ali moulded looking frame rather than the steel one. They also take the later type of bonnet prop... rather than the hinge type.

that’s what I thought, I think they just advertised it wrong as it’s definitely got the moulded frame. I’ll try and buy that then
