Sadly no exciting v8 progress although I can now drive the van over to collect my parts list so won’t be too long. In the meantime had my custom grille painted Santorini and the bumper to match. Got the second row recaros test fitting started today before I paint the seat box, then fitted the Alston window trims, and all new black carpet now I have removed the 3rd row seats. Then a quick bath.

Cheers man, has been a tough enough slog building it over the last 10 years but the recent few months have really made me appreciate the blood sweat and tears that’s gone into it. Was originally an old farm on the site which we recycled the field stone from but as a general rule we only like to use reclaimed material. Some on the Bangor blue roof slates are like slabs! Most of the year we are surrounded by potatoes, cabbages or carrots Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge My latest project was to connect the rear and front lawns for the Husqvarna robot arriving at the weekend to help. These are all ditch walls we had built by old skool stone men using granite from the Mourne mountains here in Ireland, probably my favourite thing we have done. mcma1, mate, that is absolutely BRILLIANT, blows any Defender right out of the water IMHO.
Wifey says, "When can we move in"?....She loved the stonework in the garden, "That's me" she said! Just lovely my friend, and obviously you do a lot of the work yourself. Without wishing to be intrusive, does the external "character" of the house continue inside,..stonework, wooden beams etc,...if so, any chance of some interior views, I totally understand that you may not wish to do this. HUGE congratulations to you, a simply wonderful property. Pickles. |

It’s been hard work. I bought a lorry load of old 14” oak which I had to rip every block And then fit

Thank You.
Just "WOW" is all I can say. I can see you enjoying some cold winters evenings in front of those lovely fireplaces. Your wife is very lucky to have such a "hands on" & skilfull husband, because I'm bloody hopeless at that sort of stuff. Brilliant, Pickles |

Decided to try the big Lazer using the GRP gutter brackets. Just need to get some edge trim to cover the lower cooling fins to stop the wind whistle.

Does that fit like a roof rack would? how do you get the wiring into the cab... I guess it has to be hole somewhere.
Looks great, what's happening with the engine side of things? |
