Waiting to see what will happen with the various other incentives being requested from within the car industry as well.

I didn’t take up the very expensive offer from the dealer to use LR’s PCP service at 5.9% APR when the BOE rate is 0.1%, for a change I used my own money rather than Black Horse’s money. There are discounts available but not on the car Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Depends on the numbers. A PCP deal with a guaranteed value at 3 years might look attractive if the car is a complete turkey and residuals reflect that.

was almost set to pull the trigger this week but i'm gonna wait and see. No deals to be had on the sticker price of a defender only room for manoeuvre i'm getting is a dealer loyalty contribution (if i take finance) and some haggling on my D5 trade in price then 15% loyality on Dog guard, Cargo barrier, boot mat, load bars and rubber floor matts given i bought all the same for the D5 from them just 8 months ago! Finance is crud with LR at the moment so will be seeing if i can get away with taking it to get the dealer contribution then pay it off within cool off period. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

Was speaking to a guy last winter who bought a new D5 on LR finance to get a hefty 'deposit contribution' which was dependant on it. There was no early payment fee or other tie ins so he made the first payment then paid off in full thus securing what was in effect a hefty discount.
