In the older TR set up, it is bad enough when certain functions such as HDC and DSC are reinstated after an engine
restart.. must be a complete painif the TR programmes are defaulting.

Now you have another function to reset too - lane keep assist defaults to on at every start up ........... soon you’ll need a whiteboard on the side of the car to write all the things to remember to set/inhibit after a stop! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

I wonder why you can't select a driving program by pressing the corresponding icon on the row that pops up at the bottom of the touchscreen, to me it looks more intuitive and quicker that turning the "double duty" climate control knob, and the icons look big enough to touch with your finger. I guess it's done that way for people wearing gloves? It would be nice if you could select driving programs either way.

One thing I’ve found with the front wipers is how hopeless the new screen wash system is - because the water supply is from the wiper blade not a spray pattern there isn’t any wiper delay before you get a squirt of water/screen wash so the first sweep of the wiper just drags the remains of squashed bugs across the dry glass as the jets appear to spray the water behind the blade not in front of it **- it’s takes a lot of water to clean the big front screen of the huge number of dead bugs it seems to attract.
** just been and checked, the water IS sprayed in front of the wiper blade but so close to it that it looks like it is coming out behind the blade. Might have to spend an hour with a pin seeing if I can move the spray head to wet the screen a bit further away from the leading edge of the wiper blade so that dust and gritty bits might be washed off before the wiper drags them across the glass and scores it. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Umbertob, welcome to the forum. I’m sure Gerry and the iT guys will have a good reason for not doing the sensible thing! I recollect that name from the early days of RRSport forum. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Thanks Tim, so nice seeing you here as well! I used to hang out on rangerovers.net and rrsport.co.uk when I had my 2006 Sport, then I sold it in 2013 and got a 2013 LR4. I ordered a D110 in January that's now supposed to be built next week - unless another plague breaks out... - and deliver here in California some time in August.

wonder if it is something you can get the dealer/ service centre to disable rather than enable on start up..

or you can just push this button on the steering wheel apparently Tim

Pushing the steering wheel button doesn’t seem to totally switch it off as there appears to be an emergency lane keep assist that continues to run in the back ground........... Maybe after all the years of not being bothered about fiddling in the CCS files I will need an IID tool for this car! Edit - I managed to find the Collision Avoidance devices menu and switched off the Emergency lane keep there so hopefully it won’t interfere again not matter how often I start and stop the engine! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

I would think it would be in the menus somewhere the wheel buttons won’t disable it if it’s like the disco. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE
