^^^^ Now that picture paints a thousand words that’s for sure. Choppers in the background, 20” rims etc.

Not a surprise at all, soon you’ll see camo wraps, being lowered. Blacked out windows and much of the same.
Won’t be long before a 6” exhaust version will be available or to suit with a cherry bomb mid silencer. 😂

I have a rule - never judge a panel gap by a photo but something doesn't look right. I don't think that front trim is clipped back in place which could makes sense as I think you have to remove it to get to the step mounting bracket and they will be playing with the fittings no doubt. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

You'll need them as if you roll off any object and land on the sill structure, The vehicle could be a complete write off.... Which could get quite expensive if you actually intend to use it 'For its intended purpose'....
Not sure what the legal stance is for damaged sills on a monocoque vehicle as they are structural.... Anybody know???? It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...

Also, How are they mounted?... as any drilling into the chassis will be structural and that could weaken the structure in a crash... What would the legal implications of that be??.... And how would that effect the crumple zones?? If the chassis is designed to bend in a serious accident, but this stops it... then what will the next fail point be???... Here come the problems with adding parts to something that's not actually designed to have them added... It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...

Don't forget adding the idiot behind the steering wheel. This does not apply to any on Defender2 who might buy one as they will be more than capable of using the vehicle. I am thinking of the buyer who has no 4x4 experience, who swallows the hype and believes all he/she has to do is start it up, point in the direction required and assume the electronics will do the rest. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

They fit in exactly the same place as LRs side steps and side tubes, I would imagine.

So they have been designed to have the same deformable structural qualities....Impressive engineering considering they won't have the numerical structural model from LR....Interestingly the genuine LR ones are aluminium and these are steel.... The properties of these two metals are quite different..... It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...

The LR info states that on a 110 each step can carry 135kg... So it's just rally that... a step... it offers little or no sill protection... These will obviously be stronger... However LR will have engineered the std step to break long before the sill/chassis does... I would guess these are far far stronger than the LR originals.... So who knows what will fail first... most likely the mounting points as they aren't structurally designed to take that sort of loading...... It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...
