Alternative intercooler
Has anyone or known anyone fitted another intercooler from another car into a 300tdi?
I seem to remember seeing a Mazda rx7 one fitted somewhere, I am just really looking for an alternative as mine is very damaged and wondered what fits,

Why are you looking for an alternative?

Plenty of standard ones around although I have heard that an intercooler from a DAF 45 gives you a slight improvement on performance, if you can find one these days!

I installed one of the dual core 300tdi intercoolers off eBay for £100 and it seem good for the money. Just have to trim the rad frame to fit it

My 200Tdi is fitted with a Td5 intercooler and some DIY pipework but this wasn't done as a performance mod, it was to get a winch mount as far back into the front as could be done and to remove the need for a bumper but it seems to work well. 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop
