I'm just curious as too what is out there for the Ford power plant as Castrol Magnatec A1 is a modified mineral oil which is OK for normal road use. I use Ester Fully synthetics in our other cars as they are designed for track as well as road use so they require a better oil for the sustained high revs/higher engine temps and engine speeds. The Puma gets used a lot for towing and as I intend to keep it until it dies I am looking to prolong the engine life as long as possible even if it means using more specialist engine oils to help achieve it.

The ESP is a PAO (genuine synthetic), but not ester based.

Thanks for the order. Bit of a problem though, the 5w-30 is not part of the offer for the simple reason that Fuchs don't make it in 1L bottles.
