It's time I stopped popping round to a mates every time I need to use a press. Plus, I could do with something a bit bigger than 10tonne I think.

I look on fb marketplace periodically but have found they are either extortionate or the other end of the country so far!
Agree re the bottle jack type, a friends '20 Ton' bottle jack type is nowhere near as good as father in laws 10 ton sealey. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread Series 2 109" Series 1 80" |

The SGS range are pretty good value and seem to be better than the generic Chinesium ones. Their after-sales service is very good too, the gauge on my 10 ton stuck recently, I emailed first thing on Monday, a new gauge arrived FOC at 10am the next day. Better if it hadn't failed, but I was impressed. 10 year warranty as standard too.
