Goosebumps! ..... Echoes does it for me, pretty much a whole album side as an encore! It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.

I might be able to trump you guys.
Pink Floyd and a gig in a natural open-air amphitheatre in the hills above St Tropez. July 1970. Drove there in a diesel Series One. Got thrown out twice by the French riot Police. Went back again and slipped in undetected. Sat in the front row, right in front of the band, and no-one said a word. The local French glitterati had paid a fortune. |

If it was anything like the ' Live in Pompeii ' then it must've been a treat to watch although no audience for the one they filmed.
Did you get anything from it ( other than the experience? ) No jealous much |

Just the experience and the memories. However I did rather hope that I was left alone because Security thought I was a roadie, rather than a groupie! |

Filming of crowd scenes in Kings Speech, Elland Road Stadium (Leeds United) and Odsal Stadium Home of Bradford Bulls RLC. At times within touching distance of Colin Firth, not that I wanted to touch him of course. Whereas the delightful Helena Bonham Carter was also within reach but I’ll say no more about that as I still get dizzy reminiscing about the experience Was exciting when we were actually on set but actually spent most of the two days sitting around, twiddling thumbs and drinking tea. Still, it wasn’t bad work for £90 a day plus a free swish 1920’s haircut

It seems there are many famous people on this forum, maybe that should be used for lucrative sponsorship deals? Ray

A long time ago when Bosnia was kicking off I was a driver for the troop commander. We were driving all the routes through the ountains to find the best way of getting up country for the Main Supply Routes (MSR's) If you'd served, you'll know circle, square, diamond plus a few others.
Anyway we were stopped at a checkpoint by the locals and a film crew happened to be there. So they filmed away whilst I as a German speaker managed to blag our way through. A couple of days later, I phoned home to be informed by my dad that I was News at 10 with Kate Adie doing a voice over of the clip. I can't think of any other time being on the tellybox. But aside from that, Kate Adie wasn't a popular person. When she turned up in camp (Vitez) most of the officers always managed to find something to do off camp and left within minutes of her arrival. 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |
