You can never accuse me of being politically correct!
Bumped into an American site today in regards to the riots and they were taking the  as to why we in this country say 'youths' when they are activly stating that 80% of the idiots and that are responible are black.
See our limp wristed politicians are not sending in the army. Listening to the stories and seeing the locals that have been affected my heart goes out for them. We need strong leaders running this country instead of around on the world stage trying to make themselves look important and giving away our money whilst telling us to put up with it and tighten our purse strings.

I am sooooooooo glad most Defender drivers are soo like minded. Some of the things I have wrote on Bookface and several people outrage over it... apparently I am a homophobic racial....... or just maybe do I see things for what they are?

As for the thieving scumbags in the nations capitol city, you can blow their f#cking brains out as far as I'm concerned. Black,white or brown, I'm not racist. I just hate thieving scumbags, ESPECIALLY gangs of cocky, arrogant thieving scumbags. What an absolute pi55er to be in uniform on the front-line, be it Brixton,Toxteth,Helmand,Goose Green or West Belfast and know that for each one of the rioters/insurgents/Taliban/Republicans/Unionists and general nutters there's an army of do-gooders, social workers and litigation lawyers waiting for their big moment. |

Barbara here with her own opinions - slightly more wishy washy that Brendan's
Had my very worried son on the phone last night, saying that he had just cycled home from work only to find that his flat was in the midst of the Peckham riots. He quickly took the dog out to do the necessary but the time he came back they were looting Tescos under his building, someone threw a petrol bomb in the street outside his flats and from his balcony he could see people everywhere carrying loot. A building at the other side of the road/car park was on fire. He was told by the police to stay in the flat and if things got bad they would evacuate the flats. His wife did not get home from work, she had to stay with friends. He is now on tenterhooks in case things kick off again. The daft thing is last time I was down visiting them we went to Borough Market and I felt much more vulnerable there than on Rye Lane. We were supposed to be going to visit in a couple of weeks but I have said we will leave it till the autumn and the weather has got too cold for rioting. What I would suggest as an easy way of identifying the trouble makers, you have some sort of water pistol/cannon firing an indelible dye like gentian violet at them, would not be too easy for them to deny being there then. the Americans have perma marker paintballs and if they want to step it up CS filled paintballs. Non lethal and does the job. Im guessing white perma paint would stand out best.

Or.... As mentioned on the 'grumPy old man thread' shoot them with either 7.62 or .50 cal and again they couldn't deny it!!
