The first glimpse
This was posted in the Episode 3 thread, but they put a clearer look at that picture.

https://www.facebook.com/1232644253547734/...l&vh=e

You can't tell much, except I can spot more than a few Defendery elements

Round light.

Flat wing tops

Vertical bulkhead panel below the windscreen, above the bonnet where the old vent flaps were.

This all matches with the styling model I saw last year, which struck me as being a bit too classic Defender-like for comfort. Some may love that, but I was hoping.for something with it own identity. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Am I the only one who suddenly thought 'UMM Transcat' after looking at the side & rear profiles? Seems to be low & wide to me with a lot of undercarriage to get hung up on obstacles.

In the photos the test mule is running with what looks like a single central wiper that is far too small to cover enough of the screen. So obviously not yet the finished article.
Edit: looking again, and including the extra image in the motor.es post a couple below - although there is only one wiper visible, it isn't central and is bigger than I first thought and does sweep full height of the screen.

I'm at the point of needing a new commercial vehicle.

Recently I nearly ordered an Amarok, but I'm holding off for more info on this.

My fingers are so firmly crossed.

Can't wait for more details. 2007 90 Puma - Love it - Best car I have ever owned.

Could be like Jeep doors and not designed to be flush fit but more of a bulkhead type arrangement. Could mean that they are also easy to take off completely Thumbs Up

Mule body I reckon. The side glass is far to foward to pass today's rules.

Glad it's out and about, but I don't think it will look anything like that.

What's the expected price of the Santana / sorry Grenadier Thumbs Up

Interesting as it does 'look' more rugged, with the fronts a bit heavy looking.....

What's the thing hanging under the chassis under the rear door - rear prop guard?

Have to admit that I really like the look of it. The rear crossmember looks particularly functional

Probably half way to rolling chassis rather than yet fully laid out car, but from what we can see, I like the way they have approached this. It's clear this is not some fashion statement but they are prioritising functionality, straightforward engineering, capability and modularity. Exactly the 'no nonsense' approach I [used to] like the Defender for.

It looks as though it has those God-awful Kahn wing panels fitted! Shocked

Hopefully that is just disguise under the wrap.
