I agree, lakelander There is quite a bit of negative feelings on here towards the Main Dealers. If you have found good service, give them a good word. Sulisuli appears to have a similar good relationship with his Main Dealer. Duckworths are another who consistently seem to go out of their way to be helpful. I just wish I felt the same about my local one’s |

Mike C - Where on the sun visor is it located? Any issues with the visor up or down?
I have a Mic to go in sometime and choices are there or steering column top for me. Tried about A pillar only but didn’t pick up sound well I found and wind was an issue. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Hi customsteve90, the mic is attached with a clip to the far right of the sun visor, the wire is longer than it needs to be but its coiled up to look tidy. It remains in place when you pull the visor down and doesn't cause me any problems. You just need to remember not to grab the actual mic when you pull the visor down!
Hope that helps. Mike |

Gents,
As this issue has come up, can I ask where to buy a radio frame for an alpine CDE-125BT? Otherwise if I bought a new one would it come with the frame? I had one that I bought on ebay but now can't find any for sale... Thank you Fabio |

Is that what you are looking for? I would say it would be cheaper on eBay. |

I would imagine that it comes with the radio. But I can't guarantee it?

If there is a plate surrounding the standard CDE-173, do you think that would fit? There must be loads of people on here who have upgraded theirs and may have one laying around somewhere?

I think the old Alpine radios fitted by land rover would have had the frame.
Maybe someone will have one and it should fit. Fabio |

MY13 XS, I believe the microphone was an optional extra, I didn't tick the box but it appeared to have come with it anyway:
