I have been told they are the ones fitted to the Fire and Ice specials but have not seen one with them on yet.
These are just waiting to be fitted to my 110. Click image to enlarge Bob |

My side steps were replaced under warranty in March with the newer type and they said the older ones were no longer made... also why do some Defenders not have a high-level brake light as some newer vehicles have none? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Great isn't it - mine were replaced a month ago with the old type, I was even going to pay the difference in price if need be. I was told they had to replace like with like You can never win. Bob |

What were your warranty issues on the sidesteps? Corrosion?
On another note does anyone have a view on Williams (F1) ceramic coat? The dealer is trying to persuade me to have it - at £420 a go. They do all the body and the alloys apparently and it lasts years. I've always been happy to polish cars myself, but I'm open to being convinced. |

I've wondered the same... My 09 hardtop doesn't have one, but the 09 station wagons I've seen do. I borrowed a 2011 90 hardtop the other week and that did have one. |
