Can anyone recommend a budget spraygun.
Can anyone recommend a budget spraygun.

Want it mainly for touch-up work but also for a bit of DIY on other various things. Only really want one of the small ones as I wont be doing anything sizeable with it.

If you have a link to ones you recommend that would be great.

Many thanks.

Mick

I have a Burisch LVLP gun. It’s cheap chinesium, but you can buy all the spares and different nozzles etc from UK company which is what swayed me. It works fine on a small 14cfm 50 litre compressor. Just need to make sure you use the high flow euro type couplers and decent bore hose. Burisch sell all that stuff to if you need it.

Many thanks Bluest.

I have a small Aldi compressor that I bought about 3 years ago due to them selling them off, so this may sound like a good option. I don't really want to buy a better compressor as I have had this three years+ and not used it yet - but then again I only got the Defender in January!!

I have just stripped a heavy garden gate and did a good job. Then painting on Aquasteel followed by red oxide with a brush had really peed me off. Lots of drips and naff build-up with the Aquasteel then drying too fast with the primer. Hours of work spoilt by naff painting!

I also need to do stuff on the defender so the lvlp sounds like a good option - though the Amazon reviews are mixed.

Thanks for the advice.

Mick
