when grpB was canned pretty sure these were sold off for around £10K or so...........certainly wasn't supercar money
that one didn't even start life as a "car" but was built from a new shell |

Oh and just for Nerd value they basically use 3/4's of a Rover V8 and in later Twin Turbo form it became the Jaguar XJ220 propulsion.........

That ould have been a pretty decent investment then! Fancy winning one too! How student insures a group B rally car is beyond me! I used to pay £800 to insure a £500 Peugeot 205 back in my student days let along this monster! seems my recall isn't quite exact, its was the development hack that used a chopped down Rover V8 and then ultimately an all alloy V6 http://www.6r4.net/site/6r4-history/the-history-of-the-6r4 |

Always dreamt of doing that with my wife’s 2005 Mini Cooper, likely with an M3 Engine. Plus throwing in some 4x4. Proper sleeper. Dream on..... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Look up Project Binky on YouTube. Two very entertaining guys shoehorning the 2L engine (200bhp+) and 4WD running gear from a Toyota Celica into an original Mini. Apart from the entertainment value, the quality of the engineering is outstanding. Darren
