Don't recall the "old Defender" being shipped to dealers in such numbers. I presume they are expecting a sales rush as it is a "new" model. In the current climate, which no one in the car industry could have foreseen, it is not the ideal time to be launching an expensive new model. Wonder how long before "deals" are sanctioned by JLR to help shift vehicles? 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

I would’ve thought there would be a deal to be had at the moment.
Can’t order my one yet as my salesman is furloughed. |

Better buy one quick as JLR are looking for £1billion financing from the government according to the financial section of the Sunday Times today - could be no money, no more JLR and Tata ain’t giving JLR cash as they have asked for loads of money or they are going to shut down a furnace at Port Talbot and throw hundreds onto the unemployment mountain........ It looks less awful in that picture because you can't really see it.

I thought I saw a one of the new generation Defenders today. It turned out to be a white Kia Soul. Very similar only smaller. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
