Electric ariel? for use with DAB radio
Im about to fit a new stereo with DAB and wondered if the existing ariel is good enough to muster up a decent DAB signal.

Given the ballache of refitting ariels I was also thinking on changing to an electric one that retracts when the ignition is turned off, to avoid the risk of some numpty snapping it off and facing the dread of having to refit.....

Any suggestions?

No. Fit a proper one.

They are very very very easy to swap. 30 mins work, much better result.

So is the ariel splitter that I bought with the stereo now redundant?
