Is this the one at the derelict farm on the Chesterfield Canal near Thorpe Salvin?

Yes
It had a "friend": Click image to enlarge (Actually there is another view of the car at the back, but probably not much extra use). |

Looking at some pictures online, a 4 door Morris Minor looks a good match. Especially the horizontal trim line between the wheel arch and roof line.
If so, it looks like a very early one without the raised seam where the roof meets the main body at the back? This 1950 2 door doesn't have the seam This 1952 4 door does have the seam https://www.coys.co.uk/cars/1952-morris-minor |

The rear part of the roof looks deeper than a Minor, and that coachline looks longer too (unless due to photo distortion) - I’m thinking it might be the bigger Morris Six.

The thing i don't get is how these haven't been fully chopped up by scrappers when the price of scrap was high. If i was a scrap lad, me and my mates would be there with a few petrol cutters chopping up left right and centre. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
