[Free] Used 90 Side steps
Free to anyone who wants to collect (no postage):

90 Side Steps, came off my 2011 Defender. Starting to go rusty, but not to bad. Could be cleaned up and re-painted if you are keen.

I’m in East Sussex, north of Hailsham. It’s the first person who arrives at my address to collect can have them.

I must be getting old! Sad

I originally liked the firmer ride and better road holding with the Bilsteins.

But recently I’ve thought the ride was very harsh on my poor old bones. Laughing

As I had a set of spare new standard shocks I thought I would fit them and also fit spring isolators all around top and bottom of the springs while I was at it.

It’s a much improved ride now, far less harsh. It’s now like I’ve got Range Rover suspension! Wink Rolling with laughter

Daz I have just taken the side steps off Cals defender 07 plate they have been on since new so haven’t done badly, the passenger side has zero rust on it looks almost new, the drivers side has a lot of rust underneath but still structurally sound for a year or two , you would think they came off two different defenders!! Did both of yours rust equally? 2015 HT XS 90
2008 SVX 90
2000 XS TD5 90

Hi, yeah, there was generally an even amount of rust on both side steps. Rolling Eyes

But I did notice the other day that my front nearside mud flap bracket was in pretty good condition, but the offside was quite rusty. I would have thought it would possibly be the other way round, or both rusty!

Defenders, all very special vehicles in their own way! Laughing ...never know what will surprise you next!! Rolling with laughter
