I have an icarsoft i930, works well, only tried it on the defender with purposely induced errors (I don't really want to see any real ones), used on a 67 plate freelander and it correctly identified turbo controller faults. Well made, reasonable price.

I have the i930. Found it pretty useful. Allowed my to diagnose & fix when my intercooler pipe sprung a tiny leak. Interesting to read some of the real time data too. Actually bought it for my previous vehicle which was an FL2 & it allowed me to diagnose the cause of a light to a blown fuse relating to rear diff. I figure in my case its paid for itself saving 2 garage visits.
