Great, i'm thinking not for a LR as the wheel arch flare is different and the silver trim and squarish body is making me think of an older car, Austin or Vauxhall ish
As a side thought, could you make a note of the caravan number plate please Clayton. 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Last edited by L110CDL on 18th May 2020 10:02pm. Edited 1 time in total |

It looks like there is a chromed piece of trim on the wing - one of the later Pininfarina Austin Cambridge/ Morris Oxford or Austin Westminster design, possibly the rear wheelarch is in the photo? Something big enough to pull the caravan.

Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Try getting a photo of the caravan's registration plate and look that up on gov.uk
Hopefully it's the same on the van. |

^ I did that it comes back as a Austin Metro?
I doubt an Austin metro could tow that van? Will aim to get a better picture, just looked on street view and that's no good. |

Your right I see the likes of Golfs which I know a TDi could have over 200Bhp but towing huge vans, so low weight car, heavy weight van
The rules I used was the 80% and these small cars towing big vans will have the tail wagging the dog... No walk today that way so hold fire |
