Perfectly normal, when loaded the rear end will settle and be lower. All to do with load capacity. 80" 1948

That's not normal. Whilst the front does sit lower, it's not that low.
Here's mine before and after fitting new, standard suspension: Click image to enlarge Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

Isn't the works kit suspension lowered ?

Side view of Defender V8 Works as a reference (which i believe has same suspension set up), front clearly not sit that low.

Is the works engine lighter than a Puma unit?

That's a good question although you'd have thought that LR would have factored that in, given that every other Puma is diesel. You may have ended up with the wrong springs. Are there any part numbers, colour codes or stickers on the springs you received?
Front springs for yours should be LR135108. The front springs for the V8 are LR135109. 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2 |

Works V8 fronts are different to the suspension upgrade puma fronts to account for the weight difference.

It's not as simply as having fronts and rears the wrong way around?
Looks great by the way. Would be interested to hear how it performs when right. Good luck.
