That's great @Ashbyandy I've rarely seen a land rover in such good condition! Rob was a pleasure to deal with glad I could snap it up, ran like a dream 3 and half hours home!

First Job underway this weekend, removed the arches and taken down to sprayer to colour code them. (The colour is British Standard Golden Yellow 356)
Wolf wheels on the way which I'm going to get powder coated limestone colour, hopefully they'll arrive tomorrow. Then fit up some 265/75 Toyo Open Country M/Ts as I had them on my Series 3 and they were nice balance between aggressive looks and road manners. Click image to enlarge |

Couple of quick jobs done last night. Clear indicators and painted the side vent in Limestone. Was pleased to see it's a nice match to the yellow, as I'm going to get the wheels and roof done in the same. Now considering getting the wing top chequer plate done too. Looking forward to getting the colour coded wheel arches back from the painters this week!

@Mattc - yes that's exactly what I'm going for, I very nearly went for bahama gold when I rebuilt my last TD5 but didn't have the balls. So glad to have found this Golden Yellow one! I'm going for Limestone Wolf Wheels, Grille, Headlight Surrounds, Bumper and Roof.
