I bought them from NAKANATENGA, but they tend to get bended, and dont seat flat anymore. The original (that I forgot in many different places) had better material an didnt deform. Augusto

I received this PM from Brandan in April last year might throw a bit more light on the subject Hi Philip, The previous owner of Defendoors was Mark an American married to a Brazilian living in the Czech Republic making plastic components for the German motor industries. Unfortunately, Mark had a heart attack at home which was in a remote part of the Czech Republic and the air ambulance could not get him to hospital in time. This has caused a few legal issues as Mark had signed a contract to sell the Defendoor side of the business. There are many other issues which I know the new owners are trying to resolve. I do know the new owners will defend their registered design etc. we have indicated a sizeable order to the new owners when they become available. Now personally I do not subscribe to 'losing' Defendoors, one has been on our Defenders for 10+ years. Yes, Barbara has managed to lose one. I hope to have good news in the next few months but sometimes things grind exceedingly slowly forward. All the best Brendan For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

Mine has been on for many years. It was quite deformed from new and still is but has never fallen out despite rough mountain tracks, tight green lanes and motorway speeds.
I'd certainly buy another if I needed one ! Mo The Land Rover 90 - Many are called, few are chosen. 50 Shades of Pennine Grey |

I "lost" my first one and suspect it had help, but when I replaced it I tethered the replacement the the vehicle and it has now been there a long time. I also bought a number of spares 'just in case' which, if this thread is anything to go by, are now worth lodging with my bank for safe keeping!
