Tapping into fuel solenoid
I am fitting one of the FIA approved battery cut off switches and need to cut into the feed that goes from the ignition to the fuel solenoid. The cut off switch is mounted on the seat box in the passenger foot well.

I can easily run a pair of wires to where the fuel solenoid wire emerges from the harness by the injection pump and cut in here but it is increasing the length of the wire somewhat.

Is there a better place to splice into this?

Thanks

That is exactly where my FIA switch is mounted and I have also taken the solenoid feed direct from the solenoid.
Rather than cutting into the harness I felt it better just to divert the power via a pair of wires that run back to the switch. ONE LIFE, GET IT!
