Took the 57 plate in to have the full quote for the new 90 today, have not got the quote yet but interestingly was told it will be the new 2.2puma no idea what the full trade in will be now the dealer has gone all over it.

county landrover valued the wifes D2, auto, 94k fsh etc at £5500 max against a new 2.2 110 csw circa 32K now! and my 90, td5, 152k, csw with safety devices cage like the anni model and aircon at £7000!!

I can't seam to get the pdf quote to upload to the site so i will print and scan to jpeg later this week but new 90 24grand ish and thats just the same level of toys ect as the old county hardtop which they don't do now, convienience pack !!! central locking and electric windows, convienience pack !!! sorry its 2012 MY vehicle thats should be standard and worse than we thought 3 grand trade in for a 4 yr Defender i don't think so some how.

Yes it might be very very tired, but there is no way it can be worth that little. If you get less than £8k for it I would be surprised. Its only 4 years old !!!! I would find a different dealer |

Cant see it reaching £8K as a replacement engine is 5K , a lot of other parts will be getting to the end of their life due to milage covered, would be a good base for a rebuild to custom spec though

Thanks for the offers, you will all be pm'ed when the time is right and put pictures up ect, Inside the back will be mint as its ply linned the seats are clean have had covers on them since day one, the rubber mat in the front is tyred and missing bits on the corners. The winch A bar spots and bumper will be coming off plain bumper back on, and good luck peeling the reflective stripes off the back they are always fun If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

And theres me today thinking about throwing the towel in on my pretty much immaculate '89 90, save for a bit, then pick up a Puma next year (for comfort - Defender is my only vehicle now). Then I come across this thread!

And not just the Land Rover Jaguar ones either, Helston Group must own half the Exeter Ind Est with all the different dealerships, i know they have their own South West Bodyshop as well, huge busness If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.
